We have a little to update on. We've got a bunch of buttons now, and stickers. We've found a new live bassist, we're aiming at doing shows before I move (within two weeks) I guess we'll have to just wait and see how it goes.

For now, we're a two man band.

It's almost hard to believe how much shit we're getting down. Disk one of our third full length is done, besides 5 vocal tracks. The second disk is getting close to being too I guess (we've already re-recorded different versions of Butchered, Worms and Maggots, and Harold). There's so much bad ass shit on the third album.

As for the second album, the artwork is done, now i'm waiting to save a few bucks. Shouldn't be long.

Oh yeah, we have buttons now. They look pretty good, we're giving them out with two demos and the promo of shadows (I doubt anyone reads this now, but might as well mention it). We're gonna have 2 more designs in our hands with the week, and stickers within 2 weeks. We're basically gonna give all this away. So if you want any, let us know.

Not sure how many line-up changes we've gone through, but for now R.I.P. is basically Richtor (me) and Mr. Larry. We're going to start using a drum machine live probably. I picked up an old Alesis HR16 on ebay to test it a bit. More on that later i guess.

Not sure where I left off in this, so here goes..

We finished our second full length. It's 22 tracks, 70 minutes in length. Right now i'm working on the album art for it.

We've also got nearly half of our next cd recorded, which will probably be available with the final copy of our second full length (who would argue with 2 20 song length cd's for 5$)

We also have a new second guitarist and bassist for shows.

Oh yeah, i'm finally getting my ass down to the post office today so we should be in the local 'MusicMatters' magazine sometime in the somewhat near future.

Alright, quick update.

We've now got a second live guitarist and a bassist. New pics will be up soon

We're also just about done with our second full length. We have but one song left, which our live drummer is gonna play drums on in the studio

We've also gotten started on our 'b-sides' album. Basically, we're gonna put maybe 10 or so new tracks on it along with (hopefully) about a dozen b-sides and some live songs.

Oh yeah, we're gonna be throwing a party on October 22nd, not gonna give details on here as I don't expect more then a few people to read this.

Anyways, off to the studio

We're still busy like always. Dexter is no longer in the band, and we've since found a replacement for him.

We're also getting closer to finishing the next album. We have maybe 9 more songs to record (somewhere around 22 total).

Shows should be coming soon. Right now we're looking for a new live bassist and drummer.

Oh yeah, stickers are gonna be on the way shortly.

Quick update about the new songs
We're laying down new tracks pretty much everyday. Right now it's mostly grindcore shit, but we're working on more complex stuff too.

And this is sort of a side 'note' for ourselves.

So far we've posted these tracks on myspace:

The Vampire Slayer
Coven of Shadows
The vampire slayer II
From Ashes, to Nothing
Beyond Dead (demo version)
Just like smoke
Shredded II
As the clock strikes 12 (no vocals)
Consumed by the Dead

New shit coming as of now:

Book of the Dead
Medusa's Head
Voodoo Curse (Mortician cover)

(I'll finish this update late..)

Medusa's Head is coming along nicely. Mr Marry and I got a good portion of it down. Just needs a bit more guitar and bass. It's probably one of the heaviest songs we've done so far. We're gonna record two different versions, one with our new rhythm player playing guitar.
We've found a place that sells buttons cheap, so we'll probably get some buttons made shortly.
Oh yeah, Dexter's picture is up on the myspace profile now. It will be up on the our actual website sometime today.

First post
We're a metal band from San Diego. We've been around since December 04, but we've gotten shit done.

R.I.P. started as a 'one man band', with Richtor being the studio musician.
He remained the only permanent musician through the first few demos.

Eternal LP (December 2005)
1. Coven of Shadows
2. The Vampire Slayer
3. Shredded
4. Coven of Shadows (demo)
5. Rituals In Pain (demo)

A Day of Despair EP (May 2005)
1. Carnival of Nightmares
2. The Vampire Slayer II
3. Shredded
4. Memories
5. Beyond Dead
6. Ugly
7. From Ashes, to Nothing
8. Harold
9. Her Darkest Hour
10. Redemption Denied
11. The Final Sacrifice
12. Just Like Smoke
13. Gone Forever
14. The End of Everything

We're working on our follow up EP, currently entitled 'Desciples of Pain', this album is gonna be crazy. The songs we have recorded so far have far surpassed our expectations. We can't wait till the general public gets their hands on it. Anyways, it goes some vaguely like this:

1. Symphony of the Damned (intro) *
2. Isolated *
3. Shredded II *
4. Footsteps *
5. No One
6. A Witch's Curse *
7. Forgotten
8. As the clock strikes 12
9. Shadows
1O. Redemption Denied II *
11. Broken Windows
12. Medusa's Head
13. Skin Canvas
14. Judith

* = complete tracks

This is all basically for the first intro. To inform a bit. The next entries won't be so long and drawn out.
